George Tranos is an avid Amateur Radio operator, motorcyclist, boater, ice hockey player and instructor. George’s ham radio callsign is N2GA, is active in most aspects of the hobby and is a member of a number of Amateur Radio clubs. George also is a life-long motorcycle rider and certified motorcycle safety instructor. George likes to both watch and play ice hockey. His favorite professional team is the New York Islanders. He plays weekly in theMidnight Hockey League, an adult ice hockey league on Long Island. George is also a certified instructor for Amateur Radio, boating safety (with the Coast Guard Auxiliary) , motorcycling and defensive driving. George works as a motorcycle safety instructor with the Big Apple Motorcycle School, is a freelance journalist and business systems analyst. He resides in the state of New York on Long Island.
